Kiski Valley Community Band
The Kiski Valley Community Band was established in 1993 to fulfill the desire of our volunteer musicians to have an outlet for their love of instrumental music. Members of the 45-member band range in age from high school age to those over 70-years-old from communities in the Allegheny-Kiski Valley of western Pennsylvania.
The Kiski Valley Community Band performs at many community functions during the year. Several holiday concerts are presented to benefit local service organizations, such as volunteer fire departments and food banks, and a concert before the Leechburg Elks lodge Flag Day ceremony is an annual tradition.
Who can join?
We accept anyone who can play a band instrument and is at least in ninth grade. Some exceptions will be made for younger family members. To join KVCB, e-mail Patti Marco.
